‘Office hen’ watches over eXp Realty – 100 Mile House Free Press

Buyers and sellers at eXp Realty must go through Deserai Trozzo.

As administrator of the office of the real estate agent, it is Trozzo’s responsibility to welcome and connect people with real estate agents and to ensure that their documents are properly filed.

It’s a busy job, but someone has to do it.

“It’s a thriving office, the vibes are good here and we have dynamic real estate agents,” said Trozzo, 39.

“I’m a people person, so I greet people at the door and take care of my colleagues. I make sure they are fed for the day, that they have water and something to eat. I’m some kind of office hen who takes care of all her chicks.

Trozzo joined eXp Realty a year ago, shortly after its inception at 100 Mile House. It was her first foray into administration, so she had a lot to learn.

She previously worked as a carer for 15 years before becoming a single stay-at-home mom four years ago after the birth of her son.

In addition to being an administrator, Trozzo is also the personal assistant of real estate agent Jenni Guimond.

She acknowledges Guimond’s patience and help in helping her quickly assume her various duties.

On an average day, she has to be flexible and wear many different hats. In addition to managing the front desk and taking care of data entry, she is also responsible for keeping eXp’s workplace clean, ordering new office supplies, accompanying real estate agents for list of appointments and everything they need on a daily basis.

“I’m just trying to keep everyone tickety boo and even. I am the organizer, they know it.

Being part of eXp has been a great experience, Trozzo said, adding that the mix of young real estate agents and seasoned eXp veterans has had an effect on their clients.

She often saw people complimenting her colleagues on their work and even giving them a hug.

Trozzo is also responsible for purchasing a personalized gift basket that customers can collect with the keys to their new home.

“I like the human aspect, I do. I appreciate people in the office and people coming in and out,” Trozzo said.

“I like what I’m doing right now with life and work, so it’s been a really good year.”
