Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh launches Sai Naari Abhilasha Foundation for Women : The Tribune India

The Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi has launched the “Sai Nari Abhilasha Foundation” – Life Women Empowerment Center on Women’s Day. The inauguration ceremony was conducted by Bandana Kumari, MLA Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. Additional SHO, Shalimar Bagh, also graced the occasion.

This foundation is an initiative of Modern Public School to improve the lives of underprivileged women by giving them access to education and skills development.

Eight specialized courses that will be offered by the foundation for women are: data entry operator, receptionist, graphic design, make-up, pickle-making, sewing, nail-art and heena-art.

The Center will provide training for women in various fields. Opportunities will be offered to these women trainees to sell their products and earn a living. This attempt will make them autonomous in building their careers.

Speaking on the occasion, Alka Kapur, Principal of Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, said: “I am honored to be part of such a wonderful foundation and am thrilled to see more women becoming skilled and independent. . We currently offer a platform for learning and progress for women, but we will do our best to provide them with exceptional employment opportunities in the near future. »
