Automovill raises $ 500,000 from Mumbai Angels Network and NEDFi Venture Capital


MUMBAI: Automovill, a full-stack mobility startup, raised $ 500,000 in bridge round from Mumbai Angels Network, with existing investor NEDFi Venture Capital, raising funds raised to $ 1.2 million since its creation.

The round was led by Jay Nagrecha and Sandeep Daga, who participated via the Mumbai Angels Network.

Bengaluru-based Automovill will roll out the new products to boost technology adoption, expand its footprint in multiple cities, and hire intermediaries to manage increased business and strengthen the infrastructure of its existing partner and hub networks. .

“The change in the mobility industry and the post-covid demand for private vehicles has been a big boost for Automovill; increase its clientele across the country. With the experienced team and the adoption of technology in process automation, quality control and increasing retail customer base, aims to increase its presence in B2B and B2B2C segments, including suppliers auto insurance, ”said Mridu Mahendra Das, founder.

Founded in 2016 in Guwahati, Automovill’s 360-degree technological approach enables a flawless customer experience by bringing trust, transparency and convenience.

Since its inception, the platform, co-founded by Mridu Mahendra Das and Chinmay Baruah and recently joined by Ramana Sambu as co-founder and CBO, has processed more than 100,000 cars for private and B2B customers. Headquartered in Bangalore, Automovill now has a presence in 12 cities with direct retail customers in Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad and Guwahati, providing services for nearly 2,000 cars per month, and has seen massive growth of 250% after the pandemic.
